This non-invasive service involves minimal pain and is done in the comfort of a relaxing spa setting.

What to Expect Before, During and After?

During the initial assessment, we will work with you to create a skin care treatment plan that meets you & your skin’s needs. Different skin types and hair types may require more or less treatments to achieve your desired results.

Before beginning any treatment, we will have you fill out a patient consent form. We also collect some medical history to ensure a safe treatment and results.

After preparing the skin and using eye protection, a cool gel is applied to the skin. The chilled IPL handpiece is then moved over the skin, delivering bright flashes of light with a “snapping” sensation, similar to snaps of an elastic band.

While the initial pinching sensation may cause a slight flinch, the treatment is generally not painful. You may feel diffused heat as the applicator glides over the skin, and a smaller tip may be used for smaller areas like the sides/tips of nostrils.

We’ll customize a treatment plan for your specific skin needs, suggesting 3 to 5 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results.
